Paper Sculpture installation: LARGE FLOWING DRIP

During an intense period in my life while trying to relocate back to NYC (2008-2009), for a few months I worked alongside founding member Garon Peterson and other members of the collective to discuss and plan our exhibitions. I only participated in 3 exhibitions January, February and March of 2009.

Jan & Feb 2009 I installed 2 different Paper Sculptures Large Flowing Drip and three wall curtains with photos of Lindsay, Sarah & RC on them. March 2009, I was one of several Event Photographers there and primarily operated the projectors and sound on the 2nd and 3rd floors. 

Another previous event (in October 1999) that Garon had invited me to body paint in was ATTAIN. I had a mini speaker sound set up with a chair for body painting for this mythical erotic event in Long Island City.

Explosion at the Greenwich was the conclusion to this series. I started to become concerned about the paper waste from each of these shows and I stopped the practice. I had thought about shredding it up and turning the pulp into many multi colored sculptures, but that idea never fully manifested itself over time.
